Dr. Alsup has practiced otolaryngology in Winston-Salem since 1979, first in solo practice, then joining Salem Ear, Nose & Throat Associates in 1986, and finally with Piedmont Ear, Nose & Throat Associates. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Alsup has served as the Otolaryngology Section Chief of Forsyth Medical Center and has held various offices at Hawthorne Surgical Center and Medical Park Hospital.
Special interests: diseases of the sinuses and ears; common disorders of the ear, nose, and throat
Personal Information
Dr. Alsup is married and has two sons. Dr. Alsup is a life-long resident of Winston-Salem. Medicine runs in the family. His father preceded him as a otolaryngologist. In his spare time, Dr. Alsup enjoys gardening, blue grass music, and playing the banjo.
