In 2002 he joined Piedmont Ear, Nose & Throat Associates. He has served as the Otolaryngology Section Chief of Forsyth Medical Center and on varioius committees at Hawthorne Surgical Center. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Special interests: pediatric ENT disorders Personal Information Dr. McGuirt is married with five children. His father is also a retired ENT physician at Wake Forest University Medical Center. He enjoys tropical fish and coral and is the personal caretaker of a very large aquarium in his home.
